Retro Bowl: Splitsville Luxury Lanes™

It's not your grandfather's bowling alley! From the moment you walk into Splitsville, located in Downtown Disney's West End, you might think it was, with the bright red, yellow and blue colors reminiscent of the 50's on the walls. The retro lockers at the entrance and the colorful bowling balls remind you of a time gone by.

The sign outside beckons you back to give you that retro feeling.

This bowling pin sculpture hangs over the main entrance.

These colorful retro lockers greet you as you proceed to the counter to book your lanes.

But as soon as you look toward the lanes you realize that something is different here. Although Splitsville contains 30 lanes, you've never seen them like this before. They are nestled in the corners in two or three lane clusters and they are on two floors. What? Two floors! Lively music combined with good food, a couple of bars and you realize you're definitely ready to go bowl a strike!

There is a large and colorful selection of bowling balls to choose from.

Take the escalator up to the second floor and enjoy more bowling, food and fun.

The almost private lanes make you feel like you're in your own bowling alley just hanging out with friends.

The atmosphere is a cross between the Jetson's and a night club. Pool tables and large leather booths invite you to sit and eat and be entertained. The smell of the food definitely entices you to eat either at the lanes, at a family table or outside at a first floor outdoor bar area, complete with live music, or upstairs out on the balcony overlooking the West End activities.

The outside bar area is perfect to get a snack and listen to music while sipping on your favorite beverage.

The balcony upstairs is a great way to gather and see what's going on at the West End from above.

The hustle and bustle from up above, out on the balcony.

Splitsville's menu offers everything from loaded fries as an appetizer, pizza, fish & chips, burgers & sandwiches to a Super Sundae and Kid's Meals. All dishes were developed by chef Tim Cushman and are tasty and cost in the $6 - $25 range. Don't forget the Sushi Bar located on the first floor!

These large comfy booths are located throughout the bowling alley perfect for enjoying your lunch or dinner.

The Turkey Club is an excellent choice from the many items on the menu.

Back to the bowling, if you want to bowl it'll cost you a little more than the alleys down the street. But this kind of bowling is meant for a group of people out on the town, a birthday celebration or families looking to enhance their vacations at Disney World.

Weekdays - Open to 4pm - $15
Evenings - 4pm to Close - $20
Saturdays & Sundays - $20.

You get time on the lanes depending on the amount of people in your group.

1-3 - 1 Hour
4 - 1 Hour/15 mins.
5 - 1 Hour/30 mins.
6-8 - 1 Hour/45 mins.

Playing pool is also an option at Splitsville.

The gift shop at the entrance is a good place to find some great memorabilia, like T-shirts, bowling pin shaped water bottles, bowling shirts and more, to take home to remember your experience.

The bowling pin water bottles make a great gift!

If you're looking for a great night out locally it fits the bill! If you're on vacation and want to have some good family fun, it'll work for you too!

If you happen to be in the Downtown Disney area don't hesitate to stop in and check Splitsville out. Whether you're going to bowl, going to eat or just strolling through to see what it's all about, you're going to have a great time.
Now hit those lanes and get a strike!
